LaunchReady is operated via businessnameideas.co.uk. We provide an AI-powered business name generator and startup document pack for UK-based entrepreneurs.

• Email address — provided when you search for business names or purchase a Starter Pack.
• Business information — business description, sector, target audience, tone keywords, and onboarding answers you provide.
• IP address — collected automatically for rate limiting (3 searches per hour).
• Payment information — processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details.

3. How we use your data

• To generate personalised business name suggestions using AI.
• To check domain and Companies House name availability on your behalf.
• To generate bespoke legal documents tailored to your business.
• To send you your dashboard access link via email.
• To process your payment for the Starter Pack.
• To enforce rate limits and prevent abuse.

4. Legal basis for processing

We process your data under the following legal bases (UK GDPR):

• Contract — processing necessary to provide the service you have requested (name generation, document creation, email delivery).
• Legitimate interest — rate limiting and fraud prevention.

5. Third-party processors

We use the following third-party services to deliver our product:

• Supabase — database hosting and backend services.
• Stripe — payment processing.
• Resend — transactional email delivery.
• OpenRouter / Anthropic — AI-powered name and document generation.
• Vercel — website hosting.

Each processor has appropriate data protection safeguards in place. Your data may be transferred outside the UK where these providers operate, subject to adequate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. Data retention

Your account data (business information, generated documents, checklist progress) is retained indefinitely so you can return to your dashboard at any time via your unique link. Payment records are managed by Stripe in accordance with their retention policies.

Rate-limiting records (IP addresses) are automatically deleted after 60 minutes.

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of your personal data.
• Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data.
• Erasure — ask us to delete your data.
• Restriction — ask us to limit how we use your data.
